CitySounds

A reproducible geolocalised online platform that combines a mobile app with the web 2.0 to offer uses a unique, ground-breaking way to discover heritage through historic sounds, as well as interacting with their surroundings and other users of the platform, by generating their own audios.

CitySounds is based on the idea of cities as cultural soundscapes and makes auditory experiences into a vehicle for listening to the past, sharing the present and constructing the future of sounds on city maps. Pilot scheme: city of Bilbao.
